Introduction to the Coaching Center

The Coaching Center is an online learning platform built on Moodle LMS. It provides a comprehensive environment for students, instructors, and administrators to interact, learn, and manage courses effectively. With a user-friendly interface and a range of features, the Coaching Center aims to enhance your coaching experience.

Getting Started

Accessing the Platform: To access the Coaching Center, open your preferred web browser and enter the URL provided by your institution or coaching center. Make sure you have a stable internet connection.

  • Sign-up: For this cohort, you can self-register. Complete your account and you will be assigned a coach.
  • Logging In: On the login page, enter your credentials (username and password) provided by the coaching center. If you encounter any login issues, please contact your institution’s IT support team.

Roles and Permissions

The Coaching Center has three primary user roles:

  • Student Role: Students have access to enrolled courses, course materials, assignments, and assessments. They can participate in discussions, and complete tasks, and track their progress.
  • Instructor Role: Instructors have additional privileges. They can create and manage courses, add course materials, grade assignments, and interact with students. Instructors can also participate in discussions and track student progress.
  • Administrator Role: Administrators have full control over the Coaching Center. They can manage users, create and assign roles, configure system settings, and provide support to instructors and students.

Navigation and Course Enrollment

  • Dashboard: Upon logging in, you will land on the dashboard. The dashboard provides an overview of your enrolled courses, upcoming deadlines, and recent announcements.
  • Course Overview: To access a specific course, click on the course name listed on the dashboard or navigate to the Courses section. The course overview page displays essential information such as course materials, announcements, discussions and surveys.
  • Enrolling in Courses: Depending on your institution’s enrollment process, you may be automatically enrolled in certain courses. To enroll in additional courses, follow the instructions provided by your coaching center or contact your instructor.

Course Interaction and Resources

  • Course Materials: Within a course, you will find various resources such as documents, presentations, videos, and external links. These materials are organized by topics or sections, allowing you to access them easily.
  • Assignments and Assessments: Instructors may assign quizzes, tests, or assignments within a course. To complete these tasks, follow the instructions provided by your instructor. You can submit your work electronically through the platform.
  • Discussions and Forums: Engage in course discussions through forums. You can ask questions, participate in group discussions, or seek clarification from your instructor or peers. Be respectful and follow all guidelines.
